The teacher provides opportunities for different cultures and diversities within the classroom. The teacher provides a vast classroom library as well as environmental print in their classrooms to expand their students’ knowledge of cultures.

The teacher is committed to their personal and the students’ academic excellence while maintaining a professional demeanor. The teacher maintains their own personal learning to enhance the students learning.
Learner-Centered Communication
The teacher must appropriately use interpersonal communication skills with their colleagues as well as all students. Teachers act in the best interest for not only the school, but for the students.
Learner-Centered Instruction
The teacher assesses and collaboratively identifies the needs and plans of the students. They also incorporate their instruction with technology and other resources. Clear and concise instructions ensure that students learn quickly and more accurately.
Learner-Centered Knowledge
The teacher incorporates multiple ways of learning within the classroom. These include, but are not limited to, the content, pedagogy (the way the content is taught), and technology. The teacher also uses their own knowledge to achieve success in the classroom.
